Two Birds One Stone

<< Back to all Tales

Here we have two birds.

On one end we have a bird with a nest.

On the other, a bird without.

The one bird with its nest sleeps restless and uneasy.

While the other seems to be lost in flight.

One day the free bird came across the bird in its nest and noticed its troubles and asked, “Why the sad face?”

The bird cornered in its home slowly looked up and said, “I once used to fly day in and day out, now all i do is wonder. What’s it feel like to be you?”

The free bird shocked at the other bird’s dismay quickly responded, “Well I fly day and night from tree to tree and from wire to wire. I see all and meet many but i’ll tell you this, nothing is quite like the time i had nestled next to you.”
